Put it on again after being stone cold a couple of hours and its pretty stable straight away now, and pretty much spot on after a few minutes. A bit of a tweak of the speed control is all thats required after a few minutes.

Got the technics recapped today, all the electrolytics have been replaced thanks to nigel who has sent them over for me. While i was at it i took the on/off switch to bits and cleaned it all out, and cleaned the bearing out and re oiled it.

It seems to take about half an hour or so to stabilise ...

Those ones in wells look like you could get away with a rattlecan to clean up the black, i got a factory finish in the xerxes psu just using a rattle can and then a matt clearcoat.
