Re: Nothing In Particular
I'm reading Geddy Lee's book, 'My effin' life'.
The word 'shoddy' comes up, his Dad worked for a while in a shoddy mill he says.
I know we've covered this before, he gives a description of the word and says "Shoddy was inferior material spun from waste woolen cloth and used for stuffing ...

Re: WD forum closing
That's a shame, although my visits are sporadic.
Without the WD forum would there have ever been Audio-talk ?
Thats a shame, without the WD forum I wouldn't have known about the EggyFests. Actually I think it was in the WD room at a Heathrow Hifi show I met some of what would become the AT ...

Re: Having a clear-out - free stuff here.
Hi ya's Chris,
An 'operational' question about the Peavey DECA528, I vaguely remember these coming out and thought about making up a very powerful lightweight 'HiFi' bass combo using one.
Did you find it very quiet in operation? Trouble free?
Cheers

"The important thing to know is that engaging real people in person is worth more than engaging strangers on social media.".
Ah, yeah but no but yeah but, if I hadn't had engaged with you on this forum I wouldn't have met you in person.
And that was a good thing
